Join the team from Camera House Geelong and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Dylan Giannakopoulos on 6th-8th August for a unique Sony photography experience along the Great Ocean Road. This is a rare opportunity to capture Australia’s most iconic coastline from sunrise to sunset, shoot astro, and even photograph the 12 Apostles from a helicopter.

Day 1 – Friday

The Sony Alpha Weekend starts with a brief presentation. Guests will get their pick of Sony’s latest and greatest e-mount lenses and cameras to loan for the weekend. Guests check in to their accommodation and then we head out for a sunset shoot with Dylan. We will have a group dinner together, relax a bit before heading out for an astrophotography session to finish off day 1.

Day 2 – Saturday

The second day starts nice and early with a sunrise shoot. Afterwards, we will have a lovely breakfast at a local café in Port Campbell. By then, we will all need to take a break, rest up, and maybe have a nap. At about midday, we’ll re-group and travel to Port Campbell national park to board our private charted, doors-off helicopter flight with 12 Apostles Helicopters. Everyone will have the opportunity to shoot from a window seat. To cap things off, we will go out for another sunset and astrophotography session in the evening.

Day 3 – Sunday

After two big days of shooting, we will finish up with a short debrief session and return any loan equipment before we depart for our trip home. The team from Camera House Geelong will have a pop-up shop set up and have some very special prices for all guests.
