Whether you want to try long-exposure photography for the first time or learn how to get the most out of your ND Filters, this is the workshop for you!
Join award-winning photographer and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, Dylan Giannakopoulos at his Intro to Long Exposure Photography workshop held at Princes Pier, Port Melbourne on Saturday 18th May 2024.
Polarising and neutral density (ND) filters open up a wide range of creative possibilities for landscape and seascape photography. With a wide variety of natural subjects, Dylan will teach you all about the creative and technical aspects of long-exposure photography, so you can get the most out of your filters. Maxxum and Haida Filters have also kindly provided Dylan with a few of their M10 filter holder kits for participants to use. Please email dylangiannaphotography@outlook.com prior to booking to confirm availability and reserve a loaner kit.
At the workshop, you will learn how to:
Take creative control over your camera’s shutter speed with neutral density (ND) filters.
Understand quality of light and how it influences the best times of the day to shoot.
Use compositional techniques in your photography to create captivating imagery.
Balance the elements of the exposure triangle (ISO, aperture and shutter speed).
Master control of various camera modes and settings such as manual focusing and reading your camera’s histogram.
The workshop is open to all photographers, not just Sony Alpha users. For more information about the event and to book your spot, please visit the link below:
