Great Ocean Road Astrophotography Workshop

Have you ever wanted to shoot astrophotography but haven't had the opportunity or equipment to do so?

Join award-winning photographer and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, Dylan Giannakopoulos at his Introduction to Astrophotography Workshop at the Tom and Ave Lookout on Saturday 5th October 2024. Nothing quite compares to the feeling of seeing the Milky Way light up your LCD for the first time, so why not come and experience it for yourself!

At the workshop, you will learn how to:

  • Use the 500 rule to capture tack-sharp stars.

  • Plan your astrophotography shoots around moon phases and galactic centre visibility.

  • Manually focus your lens.

  • Utilise compositional techniques to create eye-catching images of the Milky Way.

After the workshop, you will be invited to join a private Facebook group that is strictly limited to past attendees of Dylan Gianna Photography Workshops. The Facebook group offers members a space to share their images, ask questions and learn tips and tricks from Dylan.

Why not make a day of it?

Guests who book Dylan’s Great Ocean Road Astrophotography Workshop on the 5th of October 2024 will be sent a 20% discount code for Great Ocean Road Seascape Photography Workshop on the same day, through Sony Scene messages. The code will be sent out within 48-72 hours, subject to availability.

The workshop is open to all photographers, not just Sony Alpha users. For more information about the event and to book your spot, please visit the link below.
